  • Organic Agriculture - The Way to Progress

As our society from past centuries up to the present day, it is very clear that there are some developments that have occurred. Among the problems neglected for decades, environmental problems becoming worse as the years passed. Some environmental problems we are facing are the results of agricultural malpractices due to lack of education.
Among the environmental problems is the ongoing destruction of the earth due to excessive use of inorganic fertilizers leading to soil infertility. A proof of this fact is justified for the gradual extinction of wild plants in the past, just out of the earth without human intervention. Another problem is the pollution of water and air source, as a result of excessive use of pesticides and other chemicals used to spray the plants. As a result, busy clean water for less which also contributes to the spread of infectious diseases. If you believe that at least these problems will be reduced because of all these problems, a part of the agricultural sector of organic agriculture.
Organic agriculture is a holistic production management that the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers discouraged and genetically modified organisms. Deliberate, it will contribute to the reduction of air and water is polluted land and maximizes the health of interdependent communities of plants animals and humans. This means that there must be a balance in the environment in which one of these living organisms will be some others. This is because through organic farming, to avoid microorganisms useful life keep on flourishing of pests and diseases that ravage communities interdependent said. They are called interdependent communities, because the word "interdependent" means, plants animals and humans rely on each other to survive. Plants emit oxygen and food for people and animals. On the other hand, animals and people emit carbon dioxide and waste products to plants used in food processing or photosynthesis. Another thing to be addressed is the balance of harms and number of predators in the area. In other words, the cycle food chain to compromise, because if this happens there will be a dominance of one population that lead to food shortages be for other population groups. For example, if farmers have continued to use synthetic pesticides, small organisms will be killed, leading to the increasing number of pests, because no other organisms that eats them. As a result, plants that serve as food for people and animals be destroyed by these plagues. This is why organic farming is said to adhere to the food scarcity in the future.
For organic agriculture is in fact, farmers need to be educated about appropriate farming practices. In fact, in the Philippines, there are certain radio programs and TV programs for the promotion of organic agriculture. But the most important thing is to promote cooperation between sectors of society and to support the implementation of organic farming practices. Among the sectors in society that more effort should exercise the education sector to facilitate the educational institutions, especially at state universities or any university offers courses in agriculture.

There is nothing wrong with non-organic food. We get a bigger yield by far and that's not why we're destroying the planet. Places like Brazil are making a ton of money off of agriculture and are chopping down the rain forest at an alarming rate. That hurts the earth 10000x more than farmers using hormones or pesticides.
