Luck plays as much a part in this as timing, and if the fighter's know there's a good chance they'll be tested after the fight, they'll be clean by fight night. It takes a few month's for the benefits to disappear even after you get off the drugs.

Training Camp is the most likely time for anyone to be using.

Thats the most crucial point and stage in this, Imagine your opponent has been taking everything in training camp?? But with Random testing involve NO boxer would take any chance of getting caught and dont let any boxer fool you about they dont know what drug to take in sport.

Even in my local gym a newbie knows all the stuff he could take to build up energy in a few months.

khan mention that in the Olympics they took blood test off training and after the fight ... not during training, only pee test....
Paquiao agreed to do this... with 24 days cut off because he will be in heavy training... Why the fight didn't happen?

If it takes a few months for the benefits to disappear even after you get off the drugs... whats the point of taking the blood test?

No one is against any kind of testing. That's the bottom line. Instead of riding the high horse and constantly talk about it, make it happen. Put your money where your dumb mouths are. Every state should have one so that any fighter would not have to ask for it. It's too dumb to assume that Pac will duck it. (Of course, these folks always think of Pac, but doesn't give a hoot about other fighters. They're effing hypocrites.)

You either for it or STFU.
I doubt it has killed anybody....and you're right btw!!!

The confusion is always around random.

What is random, whats Amir's idea of random, once or twice.

He doesn't go into what he feels would be too invasive.

He goes on about his blood testing then, and the guy behind him clarifies that it was purely a POST fight test. That's not how you might have interpreted Amir's comments. He's only done post fight blood testing, is the bottom line.
