  • Current British LHWs

How do you rank them, and who would come out on top in each fight?

    Johnson, Yarde, Buatsi and Burton.

    Johnson - Yarde
    Johnson - Buglioni
    Johnson - Burton
    Johnson - Buatsi
    Yarde - Burton
    Yarde - Buatsi
    Yarde - Buglioni
    Buglioni - Burton
    Buglioni - Buatsi
    Burton - Buatsi

*Left off Johnson - Buglioni as Johnson has already won that one.
Also Buglioni - Burton, as Buglioni won that one.

    Johnson - Yarde
    Johnson - Buglioni
    Johnson - Burton
    Johnson - Buatsi
    Yarde - Burton
    Yarde - Buatsi
    Yarde - Buglioni
    Buglioni - Burton
    Buglioni - Buatsi
    Burton - Buatsi

The big kahuna, and the hardest to pick for me was Johnson - Buatsi.
    • Johnson beats everyone
    • Buatsi beats Buglioni, Burton and Yarde
    • Burton beats Buglioni and Yarde
    • Yarde beats Buglioni

What pisses me off more than Yarde not fighting his domestic rivals on the other side of the divide, is the fact that Hearn doesn't seem willing to match his own guys against each other.

Desperate to see Buatsi tested. Quinlan isnt terrible, but he is a career SMW and was just stopped by a pretty average Hooper, though boxrec tells me he did drop him twice.

Seeing Buatsi in there with a true LHW would answer a lot of questions for me as he looks a bit small for LHW at times (though undeniably strong and in great shape). The top dogs at the weight, even the best domestic LHWs, are big big guys.

Yarde vs. Buatsi is the fight, for the future.
