Did he pay taxes on it? Maybe it's worth the mrsp plus taxes. Did he get ripped off? Maybe it's actually only worth half of what he paid if the market demands it. Was it the last one available in a crisis jam shortage? Maybe it's worth $100. Maybe it poisons the man, so he sues the company and gets $1,000,000 in a settlement. Worth isn't necessarily cost and vise versa.
“NOW” being the key word in the whole thing. Now being directly after purchase
