When I look at posts like the one above and the many other similar posts all the while hearing the backlash of people saying Jacobs is a paper champ and not the real WBC champ, why didn't this same logic apply to David Lemieux when GGG challenged him for the IBF belt he won in a vacant fight?

Lemieux beat N'dam for the "vacant" title. Lemieux won a belt that was vacated by Jermaine Taylor, against N'dam when Peter Quillin had already beaten him while knocking him down 6 times.

Did GGG beat a paper champ in Lemiuex for the IBF strap?

        How so?

He picked up a vacant belt left by Jermaine Taylor, against a guy that was knocked down 6 times by Quillin, did he not?

WBA Regular in most cases is not a proper title especially when a guy like GGG is Super champion or when Rigo was Super and Quigg, Regular.

Vacant doesn't mean b.s. Especially if its for a proper World title. Not to mention Hassan N'Dam was a good fighter to beat as he has wins over numerous contenders himself and for what its worth was a former World champ.

Edit: Wait? Are you under the impression Jacobs has the WBC version?

I don't see what past fights have to do with another fight. Fighters lose, that what happens when you compete.

quillin won his belt against ndam juts like lemieux, then he was stripped, tried to win lee's belt, failed, then got ko'd while fighting for jacobs interim belt.

Jacobs is not the WBC champion mate.
