and its looking pretty good for England, provided NZ don't put on another
record breaking performance. England batted first and put up 287/6 with 64
runs coming in the last 3 overs [18 balls] Text Commentary and Scorecard

Watched last night and Im an Aussie and I have too say we look woeful when it comes to batting. Awful just the worst Ive ever seen any Australian team. Our Bowling has been OK and we have some good ones but No Spinners.

May I say it the Ashes will be staying in England.

Fairly typical English cricket behaviour recently. Play really well when it doesn't count in group stages of Champions trophy (okay we needed to qualify but still) and ultimately meaningless T20 series with South Africa, get hammered in knock out stages of major competition.
