Oh so who is the number 1? AJ who was recently destroyed by a fat guy who was in noones peripheral vision. Andy Ruiz was ticking over fighting corpses like dimitrenko. He was a cherry pick gone wrong. DAZN and their Mexican marketing. Wilder is the longest reigning current HW champion , undefeated holder of the prestigious wbc heavyweight championship with the highest ko ratio in boxing. Fury is the undefeated gypsy king the man who dethroned klitschko for the lineal championship. AJ is the guy who picked up vacant titles and just got ktfo by fat Andy. I like AJ but come on... It's clear who the top two are that's why ring magazine have sanctioned the fight to be for the ring magazine title. Neither are with golden boy and with golden boy now dazn affiliated I think that puts to bed accusations of ring mag being overly biased in any way. It's clear for those with eyes to see. Both fury and wilder destroy AJ with ease. Wilder blows his head off and destroys him and fury boxes his head off and makes him look like a robot. Too easy

As for this article , how disrespectful to Tyson fury the man who had the bottle to go over and face wilder and make this into the super fight it is. The lineal champ the man who ended klitschkos reign and freed up the belts. Charismatic joker who boxes with great movement unlike any other championship level heavyweight in years. And he's described as just an obstacle? How much do dazn or matchroom pay this author?? Fury is just an obstacle for wilder to overcome to reach AJ the man who just got ktfo by Sandy Ruiz. Seriously? Maybe financially due to good marketing and stuff but even AJ can't be arrogant enough to think like the author in terms of how much he's downplaying furys significance in this bout and in this era. AJ is the defining fight of this era?? Wtf.

When Joshua beats Usyk, you will say it was a cherry pick and that usyk was only a cruiserweight.

Not saying he should be either. All i'm saying is the no1 spot should be treated as a hollow, temporary thing until the Fury/Wilder winner faces AJ (or whoever is in his position at that point) for unification. how can anyone call the Fury/Wilder winner the king of a division that they've barely faced anyone in?

Who did he beat for the belt? who has he defended against? yes he is "undefeated" because a fight 90% of people thought he lost was ruled a draw.

I think Fury has the style to beat him comfortably, but I definitely dont agree with Wilder. When has Wilder faced a boxer puncher on AJs level? the only one you could argue for is Ortiz who is at least 40 (suspected of being up to 10 years older), smaller, less athletic and far less accomplished, and those were life and death fights. Remember round 7 of the first fight? what happens if it was Joshua in there instead of Ortiz?doesnt it strike you as odd that for a 40+ fight 10+ year pro veteran and long time WBC champ Wilder faces so few guys that have skill AND can punch?

No doubt. It seems a lot of people want to see Fury and Wilder fight each other 10 times so AJ is locked out while simultaneously ****ting on any fight AJ has that isnt vs those two. And you can basically guarantee that if AJ and Wilder fight and AJ wins the next step will be to say Joshua waited until Wilder was out of his prime, even if it happens within the next year.

Fury very likely outboxes Joshua, while I think Joshua stops Wilder. Wilder has no defense and Joshua would take advantage.

As stated... this fight will define who is number one at Heavyweight.

AJ was only Knocked out by the number 8 fighter (Ruiz) one fight ago.

AJ is NOT in the top two and he has not fought the better competition.

As stated, Fury and Wilder have fought virtually nobody aside from each other. If anyone acts like this fight permanently settles who the no1 HW is then it can only be deduced that they actively dont want to see the belts unified or Fury/Wilder to face any of the top 10 challengers.

Current top 10 guys that have fought each other (not including Fury and Wilder fighting each other)

AJ - Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, Ruiz
Parker - AJ, Ruiz, Whyte
Whyte - AJ, Parker
Ruiz - AJ, Parker
Povetkin - AJ, Hunter
Hunter - Povetkin
Wilder - Ortiz
Fury - nobody
Ortiz - nobody

Noticing a pattern?

Yeah the pattern is you are biased as fock, that list doesnít even look right?

How you going to exclude Fury, Wilder and Breazeale? Where are those guys ranked compared to Fury and Wilder?

Another delusional UK dude trying to convince the world the sky is houndstooth.

By the way what were the outcomes of those fights? Didnít AJ just get beat up and quit by #8 Ruiz. Then ran around him for 12 rounds avoiding contact.

But only you idiots run around pretending like he should drop in the rankings. You just look stupid bro.
