You have the Ned/Robert Baratheon dynamic...which is awesome.

It has great overall development in terms of politics/plot and fleshing out the story. It's probably the worst if you are there just for huge explosions, one kill after another and the cheesy lines.

I'd argue season 5 was the worst. Season 3 was the best, both the 3rd book and the show.
