Hopefully you have some experience in customer service because you may have some cases where it is put to the test. Overall most people are good, respectful and realize you are doing a service by letting them in your personal car. Let me know of you have any other q's.
Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I'm still planning on giving it a try, but have a few details to take care of. I'm sure I will have more Q's in the future.
Peace.

I don't know anyone personally who drives for Uber nor have I ever used one. I've researched on-line a bit, but wanted to get some candid feedback from the "wealth of knowledge" floating within BoxingScene.com.

Feel free to share your opinion of those services, and what you know of employment experiences, but here are a few general areas I'm wondering about:

1. I'll need to purchase a suitable vehicle. I read some articles on "Best Cars for Uber", but they raised another question for me...1a. There are different "level" rides. Like Uber Deluxe, or something where you have all leather interior and seating for 8+ ?
Would it be worth it to invest in that style vehicle, or the standard where the customers are more plentiful ?
2. Do you know anyone who works for Lyft or Uber ? What's their opinion ?
3. Could it be made into a full-time gig that supports a family ? How does the pay work ?
4. Anybody here actually driven for these companies ?

Ok, that's all I can think of at the moment. If I think of something else I'll edit and of course ask follow up questions when necessary.
Appreciate it !

Did you "scotch guard" your upholstery or put down any protective measures to preserve your car interior ?
Did you make any other changes or preparations to the car, like a phone charging station, drink holders, air freshners, etc.. ?
I'm thinking about a Honda CR-V, as it's roomier, AWD for the snow, and still OK on fuel mileage...

Yeah i got seat covers off amazon, theyre essential. Aside from that its really basic. Just a clean car that doesnt smell bad. I got a couple phone chargers but thats it. People just want a clean safe ride in the end.

Can you rent an uber or lyft car in your area? Thats where i would start before buying something

I've done uber on the side for a couple years. There is a forum for questions and info. Check out [Link View Has Been Removed. Click Here To Unlock This Content.] and look in the forum.

Well I'm pretty confident that if I do it, I will do well at it.
I know there's serious wear on the car, but renting requires a mandatory amount of rides per day, that I'm not sure to meet.
Also, I need another car anyway and don't want to lose the rental dollars per week....
