Cheapest gym that can accomodate your desired training regimen.

If you arent going to be serious about thr gym, go with Planet fitness or something $10 ot the like.

Serious, as in you have a training program you are adhering to? Then go with 24 hr fitness or equivalent you are around.

Super serious? Proper program, proper eating routine, perhaps a professional and experienced training coach then a babrell club or specialist gym is for you.

You want to be in groups and meet people and challenge yourself in some way while having comraderie, then maybe a Crossfit box is for you. (Most expensive of them all)

Whatever you do though. Make sure it fits your desires, your plans, your motivation level. Otherwise you will waste money.

        Eh. Somewhat.

You wont get Chris Hemsworth size doing that though and a lot of people who do just bodyweight dont realize that you gotta do that stuff to failure to really get muscle growth.

        You can get strong though
Functionally but who cares about that? Lol broscience.

I'd consider going to a local gym instead, at the every least sign up at the rec if you have kids. Family passes are pretty cheap.

Before you join, make sure the gym you join provides weights, towels, mirrors, walls (for the mirrors) and confidence by the bucket.

Never paid to go to a "box" and workout but i tried the crossfit workouts before.

You feel like you're gonna die and you can really get strong af on it but it wasnt for me. I feel like theres no concentration for it. Like that mind muscle connection isnt there and the range of motion is half assed. So you never really can do proper pull ups or even do proper olympic lifts. (Oly lifts need true dedication to really learn. Not half ass work)

Compared to how I workout now. I rather do my current program with a metcon thrown in than pure crossfit .

That's what i did several years ago. Full cable attachments...multi-position bench/adjustable dumbbells and a stationary bicycle as well as an elliptical machine. It has payed for itself many times over and I love never having to wait for anything or worrying about what time the gym is going to close. You can't beat it unless you plan on doing power lifting and dropping/bouncing bumper plates on the floor.
