Mikey is definitely bigger bodywise and puncher, but Loma is a sight to watch for sure. He brings some great qualities and technique to the ring that make him a top threat to anyone 135 n below

While there are some very knowledgeable boxing fans who post on this site, unfortunately, it is also populated by a large number of jingoistic morons and others who do not appreciate the sport or the boxers.

Everyone leans toward their own, but if you fail to recognize talent and appreciate the art of boxing even if it is now "one of your own," get a life, follow a sport you can appreciate. Lomachenko is a very talented once is a generation type. Enjoy the artistry and praise the effort even as you cheer for the opponent.

The best ever, Sugar Ray Robinson lost after a 91 bout undefeated streak. What would today's crop of loudmouth Jaackasses say about him. He fought bums, he ducked this guy or that guy, he was dishonest and so on.

You read minds? Can you read any other minds besides Bob Arum? I don't always know what I am thinking, let alone know what others are thinking. You have a very special gift.

Loma is is very much for real!
You don't win two gold medals in the Olympics without skills.
It has taken him a few fights to understand the importance of leverage in his power shots but he has it! Foot positioning with balance gives him power along with angled punches his opponents don't see.
Very good fighter who shows a lot of old school moves and thinks steps ahead of his opponent as the rounds roll over.

As to the knock down, as he stated he relaxed and stood in front of a good fighter and got caught with a very good straight right hand. He got dropped and got right up and continued to fight.

Funny how a knock down has so much meaning to fans on this forum. They react the same way to videoed spar sessions.

The kid comes to fight! Whats not to like?

Mikey is better than linares is my point and he's also a much bigger puncher. He's also more durable considering he's never been stopped like linares has. Arum won't want to take that risk and have a budding star like Loma lose to a guy like Mikey who is a former top rank fighter and wouldn't benefit top rank financially long term.

Well good thing for us that you know more about boxing than experts who have followed the boxing for decades. There is a big dilemma in quantum physics around the implications of string theory. It seems Hawking, Feynman and the rest of that gang don't know sh...about it. Perhaps you can turn your attention to that problem and shed some light on those issues. There is a Nobel prize in it for you.
