My wife's family is Chinese/ Taiwanese.
She hates mainland Chinese tourist.

They have no respect for anything. I remember we were at a museum and a group of mainland Chinese people came behind us.
Spitting on the floor, smoking, eating snacks, no concept of making a line, it was literally the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

Sounds like a respectable thing. Buying historic items to bring them back to the homelands where they belong? And if Mao tried to burn it all isn't it a defiance to his legacy to bring the art back to China? I could be clueless but it sounds good to me.
