@DominicVerdin66 @EJLovesBoxing Lara poses ZERO threat to GGG.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) October 19, 2015
@js_writing I guess. I think fans who want to see that fight either fail to realize how good/strong GGG is, or they want to see Lara smashed
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) May 22, 2016
@eaner0919 LOL. It's healthier than Lara's will be after a few rounds with GGG.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) May 22, 2016
@D_OrtizMX @Buflo_dolla @js_writing @SmelOdiesOG Lara had his hands full with Vanes, let's stop talking about him and GGG.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) May 23, 2016
@MikeCoppinger @GabeRivas03 kelseyMcCarson Ouma > Angulo, & GGG stood ground the entire time. Lara ran vs. Angulo & still got dropped twice
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) October 19, 2015
He's lobbied against the Lara-GGG fight. Even suggested Lara should move to 160 to earn a fight with GGG
@t_bladel @Miou111785 @NoDaysOff32 If Lara isn't pushing to fight ranked 160 pounders in the PBC League, he ain't serious about middleweight
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) January 15, 2016
@t_bladel @Miou111785 @NoDaysOff32 If Lara's serious about fighting GGG, he shouldn't f__k with Zaveks of the world. He needs a middleweight
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) January 15, 2016
@Miou111785 @t_bladel @NoDaysOff32 You are not living in the real world. K2 is open to Jacobs. (They laugh at Lara.) Eubank is a future foe.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) January 15, 2016
@cobra_fade @marcusknockout Monroe was ranked No. 2 by the WBA at middleweight. Lara needs to do something that gets him ranked at 160.

But when the Brook-GGG fight was announced Brook didn't have to earn a shot at GGG by fighting anybody at 160lbs. There was no talk of Brook being smashed by GGG. There was no talk of Carson Jones giving Brook problems like there was talk of Angulo giving Lara problems. Every excuse about Lara that would've been applicable to Brook was never mentioned
@jrosales13 Golovkin is targeting middleweights. You know that. He can sit and wait for them or stay busy. Brook is a good stay busy fight.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) July 10, 2016
@Cinjeopardy @steveucnlive @NorCalBoxingFan @jrosales13 Brook, who has fought several times above 147, is very talented & can make a fight
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) July 10, 2016
@Jaycalade @t_bladel Close but not quite. Brook is undefeated, never KOd, a big-strong welter who's fought over 147 & it's not a catchweight
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) July 8, 2016
He even tried to justify he fight by blaming the PBC welterweight for not fight Brook. Literally dismissed the Vargas unification fight. And lied about Spence not being ready. Hearn admitted Spence was ok with the fight.
@EquipoDeDinero None of the PBC 147-lb stars were eager to fight Brook. Spence not ready. Vargas fight was significant but not as big as GGG

When HBO wasn't doing business with Haymon, Fischer blamed that for the reason Lara couldn't fight GGG. But this year after two Haymon fighters were on HBO (and almost a third with Broner) Fischer still says network problems.
@rcubedr33d @EJLovesBoxing @jrosales13 HBO and Haymon, who advises Lara, aren't doing business anytime soon. GGG is an HBO fighter.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) July 15, 2015
@TheOnlySanch @PRlopez333 @samueldjesus_22 The others (BJS, Lara, Jacobs, Eubank) talk brave about GGG knowing their are network conflicts.
— Douglass Fischer (@dougiefischer) July 19, 2016
So what's really going on?
