He looked great in most of his title defenses. awesome against hearns , subpar against duran and leonard although by the leonard fight he was past his physical prime. Please post your thoughts.

Agreed, looked great, very dominant. Duran was his only title defense in which he didn't win by stoppage.

Its no surprise that one of the finest middleweight champions and pound for pound greats might have looked terrific in many of his fights.

As for the Leonard and Duran fights.....he was certainly post prime in the Leonard match. He might have given Duran too much respect when they met, but that was a very well prepared and motivated Duran.....though Hagler's boxing was superb at times that night.
