you won't find them, because the numbers bare out the exact opposite. more guns, more violence. america has the most guns of any civilized nation. and it has the most murders of any civlized nation.

    muh guns does
america has a lot more issues that cause violence than just guns.

what about civilized israel or switzerland's low murder rate?

    do they have guns there?

      here's a graph which began 1996.

show me this massive drop because of it.

keep in mind also that australia is a much smaller country with a much smaller sample size, so a single massacre or year will greatly throw off statistics.

that graph measures gun deaths per 100K, and shows the variation over the last 20 years in australia's gun death rate after the implementation of a buyback program.

tat graph you showed shows a gigantic drop in robberies, a viuolent crime

the left axis has a numeric scale that doesn't show the extent of the effect on overall homicide rates, making it look static. that's because it has to accomidate the much more frequent crimes, like robbery and sex assaults, on the same vertical axis.

you'd actually find a drop in homicides if you had a graph that showed those figures on a scale that the human eye could discern.

going from 3 out of 100K to 1 out of 100K is extremely significant, and you just can't demonstrate it on a graph like that.

it says so on the bottom of your graph

Note: Homicide and kidnapping each occur at rates of fewer than 5 per 100,000 population per year and are difficult to distinguish on this graph

go find the graph that has a scale that will actually let you see the trends in homicide rates. you won't, of course.

you're getting f#cking bodied in this thread, BTW. you should take your L and run for pinoy senate.

waiting for you to say that.

the drop in robberies started 5-6 yrs later.

it actually rose for several years after the ban.

                      please explain.
