Thoroughly enjoyed that. You hit all the high notes... Max was very talented and inconsolable about the accidents in the ring that led to one, maybe two deaths. lets talk aboutn Braddock: he actually was forced to develop his left hand as a dockwalloper because he couldnot use his right...The Most High showed him how adversity works...by the time the fight came he had a right that he could use and a very live left hand. he was truly a very humble guy, and lived the rest of his days in North Bergen, an area I had the privalege of living in for while (Union City).

Max always looked like a Greek Statue, a very handsome guy. By the way...he was not, according to some, Jewish, this is debated occasionally. Certainly the farming community of Nebraska did not have many jews lol. Max lived his days in Livimore near San Francisco and is buried there. he was known as the Livimore Lauraper.

The fight was a great subtext, Max was no villian and Braddock was a decent guy as well. AS you say!
