East Coast fans & media and their dislike for Mexican boxers?

I always see either on YouTube or Twitter East Coast fans & especially media always ****ting on the Mexican fighter. Calling them punching bag & **** like that! Why is that?

Is their any Mexican population in the east coast?

Especially New York! Is it a Puerto Rican/Dominican thing? I also hear some non boxing info that Mexican get look down on in the NYC. Is that true?
