Lol at the thought Khan KO's Mayweather. Realistically Khans best win was against a faded Zab Judah. I don't see the Miadana win that great, Miadana has always been powerful but not an amazingly skilled fighter and never in my eyes a Elite Boxer.

No it isn't safe to say that Mayweather vs Khan would be the fight that Mayweather vs Pacquiao was suppose to be. The fact that the Mayweather vs Pacquiao didn't turn out as expected is proof that fights can never be predicted in advance with any certainty. Khan would be a huge underdog if he fought Mayweather because their past performances show that Khan is not remotely in Mayweather's class. Khan was hurt by Algieri and struggled to win. Khan was knocked down by washed up Diaz and barely won. You talk about Pacquiao being out cold for 5 minutes against Marquez implying Pacquiao has a weak chin. That Marquez punch probably would have put Khan in a coma. Pacquiao is well known for his good chin while Khan is famous for his weak chin. Both Mayweather and Khan do lots of holding. A fight between them would probably be a dull fight filled with holding, clinching and wrestling. Mayweather would easily win the rounds. The only thing exciting about that fight would probably be when Khan gets KOed by a straight right as he rushes in. There would be no call for a rematch. That is my guess on how that fight would go.

If Khan had higher iQ, solid chin and could fight on the inside then he could probably beat Floyd. He has some of the tools to do the job but still not enough to take down the legendary counter puncher. Floyd would definently have his hands full early maybe 5 rounds where he'll have trouble adjusting to the hand speed/length. By round 8 Floyd go into hunting mode and track Khan down before stopping him in the 12th.
Floyd won't be hesitant like he was against Pacquiao he'll know Khan is open for the left hook and straight right all day once he times the flurries.

Algieri beat Provodnikov and is a former World champion.
