he did have a bad chin at 205 from cutting too much weight, as a HW he has an average chin. lets keep in mind these are over 260 lb guys hitting eachother.
and he did visibly gas. he looked exhausted before the start of the third round which is exactly why silva jumped on him, silva said so himself.
its a case of arrogance but also just poor skills. overeem is a brute force, all offense guy with no finesse or defense in his game. those guys get clocked every now and then.
