I'm glad that twat Punchr is banned... I reported him three times for this thread. What a ****.

If ANYONE is depressed... talk to people and get help. And take care of yourselves.

Sympathizing is as SJW-esque as you can get. I have zero sympathy for someone who still lives with their parents and doesn't have to pay bills and acts like their world is ending. It's laughable and pathetic. Literally everything I could ever be "depressed" about between the ages of 12-22 is a complete non issue/factor right now in life. They don't know real struggle.

And yes, there are exceptions, we are talking about your average youth here though not some kid on the streets in a literal sense who was robbed of his childhood, so don't raise such instances as an example of anything relevant here.
What if they have a chemical imbalance in their brain?

That's actually the scientific / medical cause of it. That's what the pills are supposed to do. Fix the imbalance. The problem with the pills though is you become dependent on them and coming down from them, you'll get nasty withdrawal.

Plus you get the side effects that go along with them. Weight gain and difficulty achieving an orgasm seem to be very common side effects.

But depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain.

You mentioned how it's due to have family members that are extremely ill, I've experienced that man but I'd like to also remind you that it's very important that you stay strong so that you don't hinder whatever battles your family is going through. I say this because although my grandfather was a fighter (He died 4 days ago by the way) he couldn't fight any harder once my grandmother passed away, he wouldn't eat. I'd also like to add that when I was in D.R, my grandfather also lost both of his nephews one day apart due to diabetes, I was never told whether the other brother got the news, both were bedridden but I'm pretty confident someone told him, none of that is a coincidence either.

              1. Force yourself to the gym everyday (or something similarly productive)
              2. Eat clean, drink water
              3. Stop beating your meat
              4. Delete social media and other useless time sinks
              5. Stop drinking or taking drugs

These should be goals you should aim for, but start small. Try and have just one day of eating great, or doing a small run at the gym on your first day, for example.

The most important thing however is sorting out the HUGE parts of your life that are getting you down. Terrible job? Quit it if you can, it beats wanting to kill yourself. C*nt of a girlfriend? Get rid of her. Being lonely beats wanting to kill yourself. Meditation or writing down your thoughts is also a great way to feel better. If you're feeling directionless or disillusioned then having a real hard think about stuff can be useful. Be sure to remind yourself of the positives of your life, and the ways you have value to both yourself and others. Also, be sure to keep in mind that life truly is just a ride and you can choose to live it any way you want so try not to get bogged down in doing things just because it's socially expected of you.
Great post , I would add meditation or prayer to that list. health is number one, if your diet is good and you exercise everyday you will not remain depressed for long unless you have undiagnosed clinical depression or bipolar. I can tell you first hand from a that if you try to treat depression with drugs or alcohol you will probably die, becuase it will work initially , and then stop working, and then you have the problems, whether they be neurological emotional or environmental, AND the addiction to deal with. I've literally had 3 aa friends/ acquaintances, whatever you want to call them, die this way. Good luck....

Young Punchr...have u ever thought that maybe his situation might be different than urs?

Trust me bro life can hit people in different ways.

At least wish him well. He almost died.

I used to have to babysit my older cousin who was a coke head when he would turn up at my house coked up and drunk.

Everyone knows coke and liqour is a very dangerous combo.

One of my frends died from a drug overdose in his sleep.

My other frend who was like a brother went missing in winter for 5 days...only to be found dead and frozen in the snow..from an overdose.

                Dude...its real.

This man just got out of hospital.

PB32....you gotta think of your future bro.

                Come on man. Stay healthy.

Just think about it all. Stay on top

You p*ss people off like it was your hobby.....
kinda hypocritical to snitch out punchr for his typical clown like antics
                  don't you think??

And what did he do that was ban worthy in this thread??
That punchr guy really knows how to rub people the wrong way. lol!

Nah, I don't think it's hypocritical at all, seriously. I DO piss people off like it's going out of style, no question, but not when someone's said they're depressed. I've known people with depression (which obviously comes with suicidal thoughts in many instances).

I like a laugh, I like being a ****... but when someone's said they're depressed, you don't go at them like that. What if the guy ended it because of it?

                  Human compassion.

Its just I always find this whole "reportin" mentality to be poor form....

                    EDIT: I forgot to add.
                    It is hypocritical...

Good that we can talk this over civily, anyway, agree to disagree and all that. I'd still like you to justify how it's hypocritical, because I don't think it is, but there you go.

While I don't normally go around reporting people - because, like you, I'd normally cite that as "poor form" - when someone's life is involved, and someone is goading them after they've said they're medically depressed, then all bets are off IMO. Someone's life has to take precedence over an "e code".
