So what happened Paulie, why the 180? Could it be you had enough of explaining away your badly bruised face to the media?

Also anyone notice on All Access episode 2, McGregor was humble and respectful before and after the spar. Sure there was a dig from Conor saying Paulie having his ass whooped but Conor gave him credit and it was all good, light hearted humor.

Paulie then proceeded to schedule interviews with anyone who would book him, belittling Conor's power, labelling some of his team "hangers on", calling his other sparring partners journeymen and just being a general douche.

All of this despite promising he'd keep what happens in camp in camp. He then cries and runs home to momma after a few pictures are put out, despite saying 2 weeks ago that they can put out what they want.
He has brought great shame to the boxing community!

Yeah but posting a picture of Conor with his hands behind his back isn't a lie, that happened. The whole thing of posting pictures on the floor is implying that he was dropped, why else post that if it was just a push? it was posted with intention to give a false image, even if they didn't specifically lie and say he was dropped.

Paulie has a right to do a 180 under those circumstances if he feels they are trying to exploit him with lies or at least trying to imply certain things that aren't true. People are allowed to change their mind as the circumstances change, y'know.

Also, that's if it's all genuine. Maybe it's just all part of the promotion to keep people talking about it.

Of course bro. It's all promotional. Paulie has a significant circumstance to help Showtime Sports sell this fight along with Brendan playing along. If Paulie were to any sabotage this fight he would definitely get fired.

Of course there are non disclosures, but this particular event isn't necessarily kosher to traditional boxing matchups, and I think Paulie got that itch from exaggeration that got to him, regardless of non disclosures... as if we hadn't seen Conor spar before or rather even funnier, as if leaked footage would help Floyd assess a strategy! Lol. That ideally why they're disclosed to protect a fighter's image...

Speaking of which, Alvarez is perhaps the current and top boxer to have various sparring sessions available online. There's even one with current champ Zurdo Ramirez on YouTube. Some of those are gems, and an older ggg vs Chavez Jr... or Charlo vs Lara..

So we gotta admit, the whole sparring illustration regarding Paulie is funny. If Paulie really wanted to of course he'd rock Conor around, but Of Course he had to insure nothing bad happens to Conor or even worse, spoil Showtime Sports' epic event.

What happens in camp, stays in camp....proceeds to do interviews with everyone lol.

They can use all the media stuff however they see fit....leaves camp after a second day of sparring over a pic lol.

Big fan of Paulie, but he misplayed his hand here bad. Although I suspect maybe that was playing right into Conor's hands as I suspect Conor might actually hold a grudge over Paulie do to some of the earlier sh^t talking.

Should be interesting to see how Conor deals with sparring Berto who's supposed to be coming to camp next. Berto is a friend, but lets see if he's showing Berto knocked down & in bad positions like he did with Paulie.
