What about giving Gonzalez credit for defending against Rungvisai whos currently top five ( and been there since 2011) considering Cuadras never gave the former champion and former mandatory a rematch?
    Stop saying this.

The promoter of Sor Rungvisai was not present in the auction of the rematch, that's a fact.

    And the doctors?

That cut was sick and it was made if for a headbut of the Thai.

Plus Carlos was ahead in the fight(a competitive fight but Carlos was winning).

But yep, this guy is the third best rival of Gonzalez in his career. The others are Estrada and Cuadras.

Rungvisai is lethal at the weight! now the WBC is mandating the rematch with Cuadras and if that dont work hes got to face Estrada to! its all top five back to back for the KING but we about to witness GREATNESS. Nobody in the game is facing these odds but its OK we got aces baby!
Burden of a rainmaker in any class. He fights top ten contenders while his contenders fight softer touches waiting for their shot. Cuadras isn't taking on fighter comparable to Rungvisai while he's waiting; doesn't have to. Estrada isn't either. Makes for fun fights when we get where we're going.

A lot of these 'Champions' in different weight classes are unproven and many have just arrived on the scene, lets see them fight top five or lets make it easier on them top ten for at least five years.....just about half the time span of RG at the top...I bet most fall off.

Niida was #1. at miniweight when RG won his first world title ( WBA ) - Takayama is one if not THE best miniweight champion in the last decade holding ALL major titles ( IBF,WBA,WBC,WBO) hes still champion just like another name on RG resume former lineal champion and CURRENT light-flyweight champion Akria Yageshi - two weight champion and held the longest unbroken lineage in all of boxing until Chocolatito dethroned him and thats just a summary of the LEGEND you speak on. But Roman never fought nobody doe and we still on top fighting on PPV baby! the 'Little-Cash-Cow' aka 'Money' Gonzalez P4P!!!
