What's the heaviest weight division do you think Canelo Alvarez can move up to?

Canelo has a Vinnie Paz style body. If you look at Paz early on they both were at 140. Of course Paz didn't start at 15 years of age. Paz was given a huge pass with ROID recovery after his accident. A non PED Paz wouldnt look bulked up as he did at 168, and he came in juiced against Roy for good reason.

For some reason Mexican boxers don't have the genetic to look ripped yet they can bang like a mofo, just like Eastern Euros. With black genetics their deltoids and overall physique seems to be an evolutionary advantage in performance survival. Just look at the many ethnicities and phenotypes in Africa.

Nelo, as someone had pointed out, was the runt of the liter of the boys, probably malnutritioned. His upper torso seems to be the size of a Super Middleweight, but his legs are short as hell. Looks awkward. Like Marquez moving up where his legs are like toothpicks. However, Alvarez at 147 at an excellent physique, like Oscar at 154.

Nelo will bottle at 168 at most.

160 is his limit. He's already too muscle bound imo.

That is a optical side effect of year long test consumption
The body slowly gets a shape of a monkey, huge upper body small legs, high weight Big skull small brain

There is no black magic genetics stop complaining about your d.ck size

Roy fought Paz roided to the guts either but you just don't wanna see it right?

With careful Matchmaking - cherry picking- and Adelaide Byrd he could compete @175 easily

Roy vs Paz was a mismatch with or without PEDS. Paz was going against a speedy robbed Gold Olympian..different class of fighter. Paz could never beat Roy.

Alvarez family are big for boxers. They get that stocky genetic from their mother, most likely. Rigoberto is a big ass dude. Mexicans are heavy meat eaters

Moving up is easy. Just eat more and gain weight. Moving up to a weight class you don't belong in to fight men who do belong in that weight class and trying to win all your fights is hard and stupid. Canelo is fully grown and he won't grow anymore at his age. He is a natural middleweight and should stay at that weight. He could beat lots of 168 pound boxers but he will lose to a boxer as good as himself who is a natural 168 pounder.
