The Chisora fight was already deep in negotiations before Ortiz was an option. Chisora was asking for too much money though so Whyte thought he was free. That's why he accepted the Ortiz fight. One was an undefeated champ in the top 5. the other was number 3 in the rankings. Basicallly not the type of opponents that Wilder usually goes for. Loligag is totally okay with Joshua and his promoter promoting a fight against a lesser guy in Whyte. Just like they were okay with Joshua going after the lesser champ in Parker. Just like they were okay with fighting a mando instead of unifying (undisputed).

We all have our differences when it comes to opinions on who is the best, who won this fight and who didn't. But universally, we all agree that the best should fight the best and money doesn't get in the way of making major fights. However, money is all AJ fans want to talk about as their promoter hides behind money as an excuse not to make the best match ups. NOBODY WANTS TO SEE A JOSHUA-WHYTE REMATCH! Especially after Whyte struggled to beat Parker (almost got KO'd in the 12th). Oh but he's ranked here there and everywhere. We don't care. The eye test says Whyte is limited.

So Joshua has a choice between Wilder, Fury, Ortiz, and a guy who he's beat before (not a mandatory). Who will he choose? Whyte.

If money isn't the problem, why didn't Wilder take the 15 Mill that was more than he earned for Fury? Wilder and his crazy fans have been exposed. Why else would Wilder's fans be calling for Wilder to get more money than his worth even though they won't be seeing a penny of it? A KO artist who has a 97% KO rate who the world has been wanting to see fight Joshua vs a guy who Joshua already beat and hasn’t improved much since.... he is know in his own country 17000 proved that. Is it because he can’t sell out a stadium?? Outside of Canelo who can?? Boxing is a niche sport here but he is known and regardless of the outcome of the Fury fight he became more popular as did Fury.

Whyte sells more tickets than Wilder. Whyte can actually sell out an arena.

And how do you suppose Wilder was going to be able to fight Joshua last time out when Wilder himself said he had a broken arm? If he had a broken arm, then they weren't acting in good faith and had no intention of Fighting Joshua in Oct or Nov. What have you got to say to this?
