We have a history of dominant Linebackers.....

      Andy Russell
      Jack Ham
      Jack Lambert
      Robin Cole (criminally underrated)
      David Little (underrated as well)
      Mike Merriweather
      Greg Lloyd
      Levon Kirkland
      Kevin Greene
Chad Brown (first few years in Pittsburgh)
      Jason Gildon
      Joey Porter
      James Farrior
      Larry Foote
      James Harrison
Lawrence Timmons (criminall underrated, could make a case that he should be a 2-3 time Pro Bowler)

Even LaMarr Woodley and Kendrell Bell had their moments with Pittsburgh

Nah. He got the "HEY YOU PLAYED ON THE GREATEST TEAM EVER AND BENEFITED FROM THEIR GREATNESS" treatment.

Donnie Shell didn't make it either. LC Greenwood didn't get in either, yet.

You could make a real argument that Blount, Greene, Ham, Lambert, Russell, Shell, and Greenwood should ALL be in the hall.

You could argue that over half of the 70's Steelers starting lineup should be in the hall.

I assumed they were, multiple championships and terrorizing on defence.

Greg Lloyd is the man for this statement alone......

"Who is Joe Namath? This is a guy who, if he played in the league today, I'd probably just go hit him late and see what he did, just for the hell of it. Joe Namath can go to hell; he can kiss my ass"....Namath accused him of being dirty

The Steelers are victims of their own greatness.

It seems the Hall of Fame voters think they've been represented enough. Shell, Russell, and Greenwood 100% deserved to be in. Lloyd does too. Porter, Hampton, and Harrison should too but probably never will. The media hated Greg Lloyd so much they left him off the All decade team from the 90s....but placed Kirkland and Greene on there, when Lloyd was the anchor of the Steelers dominant D's in the 90s.

I think Hines, Ben, and Troy will all 100% get in.
