    F#cked up that almost half a million people aren't convicted, but locked up.

    Thats pretty sad and the longer you dont take these mufa fuc.ers deals the longer your holidays gonna be.
    Doesnt matter if your innocent tgey just want you to fast track and plead guilty.

      The local jail not convicted number needs some context. At least out here in Sac County, you are locked up at the County jail while your case is ongoing. Depending on the severity of the charges, if you are a multiple offender, have strikes, etc. Once you are convicted, take a plea, then you are a sent to the big leagues if you are looking at some actual time (felonies), or serve out your sentence at a a County facility.

      It's not always so cut and dry, but there aren't 460,000+ inmates just chilling at local jails for ****s and giggles.

        Ill say a good half in county are serving out a sentence while the other half are in the "proven till innocent but dont have the money for bail" category (very small percentage of those are not qualified for bail, too violent etc etc)
