I would agree with most on the site that Wilder was not exposed but just plateaued with what god given talent he has.

It is too late in his life to learn how to box at Fury's level and he is doing well with those hay maker punches. So let him continue!

Fury is a good athlete. Fantastic boxer. He also out weighed Wilder by 30lbs or so. ****tiiing on Wilder only takes away from what Fury did/is.

Let’s not exaggerate. Wilder knows how to shift his body in the pocket when wanting to throw his jab. Wilder did catch Fury doing this. Sluggers and punchers hardly ever position themselves like that. This means Wilder’s style is unique, and besides, Wilder knows all the fundamentals that Olympian teams endure and must know.

What makes Wilder’s style comedic is that when he’s desperate he throws awkward punches OFF BALANCE so it seems like he can’t box or is inferior.

Casual fans have no idea how hard it is to do followup punches. Wilder threw a straight timed right on Fury, Wilder followed up with a left. That is hard to do. It takes Ring IQ to know how the person would fall for such striking coordination.

Wilder haters don’t give Deontay credit. He’s a smart boxer for a Heavyweight, he just has his style, and in his desperation to do KO’s in heated exchanges has served him well. Wilder never gets credit for precision. Spzilka KO was a perfect example of Wilder getting desperate with that timed right power shot.

I am putting down roots on that one as well! I think that Fury will indeed become one of the greats. he needs fans to respect the magic of the lineal and DEMAND that he fight AJ! I would not mind seeing him fight Wilder again, but he so won that fight... I can understand laughing at the judges.

Wilder only weight 210lbs that night and Fury weighed 260. All Tyson had to do was to follow Freddie Roach's gameplan by stop fucking around in there and knock Deontay Wilder out. After all, he was the much larger and stronger man. Running out the clock and playing keep away backfired. That shit wasn't going to fly this time around like it did against Wladimir Klitschko. There was no damn way in the world he was walking out that arena with the champion's "The Bronze Bomber" WBC title belt without so much as throwing hardly any punches, hurting Deontay Wilder, beating him up or knocking him out. I am sorry but Fury had his chance but blew it.

Ironic from the same guys saying Fury barely made it and that Whyte hung on for dear life against Parker.

All three judges scored it 10-8 to Ortiz (whom we're pretty generous to Wilder through out the fight), Wilder got lit up in round 7 no matter how you wished it went.

Had Ortiz been this super-ultra killer you guys say he is, Wilder would have been finished because he didn't exactly put up a fight not really throwing anything just hanging on for dear life in that round.

Not exposed. Wilder is who we thought he was. There is no one in the division he can't KO. There are probably 10 -15 guys who COULD beat him IF they didn't get knocked out first.
This is pretty much common knowledge. Someone just discovering this has not been paying attention.
