He probably does. Definitely a better resume than Spence, Crawford arguably has beat a more talented fighter in Gamboa but Thurman has far better wins at 147.

Resume doesn’t equate for talent though, and Spence and Crawford have shown far more talent in their performances than Thurman has. There’s no one on Thurman’s resume who Spence and Crawford couldn’t deal with easily IMO.

His resume ain’t that good. He has two good wins Garcia and Porter. You can maybe include Guerrero as well.

Crawford isn’t that far off Burns (on the road) Gamboa, Postol, Horn as well as cleaning out 140.

And Spence’s performance on the road against Brook is more impressive than any Thurman performance IMO.

Maidana sure didn't fight like that against Alexander where it looked like that was the end of his prime. It's always going to be the fighter more than the trainer, no one is disputing that. But Robert gets the best out of these guys late in their careers.
The ref didn't let Maidana fight dirty.

That is why the 2nd Floyd fight was boring because the ref made Maidana follow the rules...i.e., no blatant low blows, no rabbit shots, no tackling opponent, no kneeing attempt, and no trying to push opponent out of the ring.

If you remember Floyd said in the rematch lead-up, "I'm fighting an MMA fighter," and he was right. Marcos fought like a rugby athlete. Had he been appropriately penalized there never would've been a rematch.

Was very entertaining nonetheless, but when people say Marcos is some special fighter...they're wrong. Whether you're the racist Stephen WonderWhiteBreadMan or another Borat cuck...Marcos is no JLC. Period.

Why are either Danny Garcia or Shawn Porter considered good wins?

This isn't 2012. Danny and ANY aura he had around him has long faded. Danny lost to Herrera (given a decision win), arguably lost to LP, lost to Shawn, lost to Keith, and looked very ordinary against Ghost Guerrero.

Again, what about Danny is a "good" win? Dude is a bum-eater...his best win since 2013 is fucking Brandon Rios or Ghost Guerrero. Are you kidding me?

And Shawn Porter? MMAShawn? Dude is a joke. Hurt by Adrien Broner although won, lost to Kell Brook in a close but clean fight, lost to Thurman, and edged the above clown Danny Garcia in a close but clear fight. The only thing Shawn does well is ruin the fight for fans by hugging and trying to tackle his opponent all night long.

Keith Thurman was hurt against Lopez and Collazo (two literal journeymen contenders), and has close but clean wins over Danny and Shawn. There is literally zero worth mentioning on his resume otherwise. Nothing about this guy is impressive and personally find him annoying as fuck

Welterweight is a 2-dog race and that's Terrence Crawford and Errol Spence. The other three, call them the three stooges if you like, are jostling for 3rd place.

****, I'd almost go as far to say that Josesito is better than anyone on both their records. Brook's name is all that makes up for it.

Brook didn't handle Porter easily. It was a MD and Brook held and smothered his way to the victory. When Keith fought Porter he fought him, he didn't hug him to the W.

Though after last night I'm not sure if Keith knows how to hug and smother for the W.

You'll always look more talented when you're fighting over matched opponents.

Crawford and Spence need to step it up.

                    Can't agree with that.

Spence has feasted on light welterweights and nobodies. Has 1 good win in Brook, where Brook was already battered the fight before.

Crawford was a weight bully at the lower weights and didn't fight anybody of note at 140lbs nor 147lbs.

Keith has Garcia, Porter, and Chaves (who was 22-0 with 22KOs at the time, much better win than Guerrero, you fools are just dazzled by names) at the top of his resume.
