I have an idea for a new script to send to hollywood, its a take on the odd couple. One day Houdini and Queeny are having at it... "arghhh you button downed communist" "Oh yeah you don't know nuthin you were always a culo twenty years ago when we were posting and the board was literally a cork board and pins! When suddenly a lightening bolt strikes, but not just any bolt!! a quantum unifier, a bolt that makes two distinct conscious en****** one and in that second the bolt hits Houdinini and Queeny.... BAMMMM!!!! the next thing you know they are joined at the arse and piehole. The movie is about how they must now get along with each other... Being that their arse and mouth are joined and all.

Its a touching film where both men overcome many obstacles in order to post about each other from back in the days and all...I guarantee it will tear up even the most hardened individual.

This is beautiful.

I'd love to see Houdini in prime form at Thanksgiving dinner. His family probably just bears it until he passes out for a nap. But how glorious it must be while he's in full geezer mode.

But in between "the other guy had only one arm" and the other guy had a boo boo...is a vast stretch where one should tread carefully before qualifying every victory, or loss a fighter has... I don't know what fighters were at their best, or worse regarding Holyfield, etc... But Lewis came and fought and won and that was quite an accomplishment. Its just in bad form to start picking apart those victories with statements like "Vitali was Green" etc etc.

regarding Fury, who I think the world of...the Gypsy like any other fighter today with a future, Canelo comes to mind also...should be given the time to age in the cellar of history as a fine wine, before being compared to fighters who have completed that journey. lets see how the Gypsy and his peer group wind up and then compare him to the likes of Lewis.

Does that make sense? Make it apples to apples. I wouldn't take half of lewis' career and compare him to Holmes for example.

Yeah, I'll be the last to bad mouth Lewis. Lots of people nit-pick his record. I know a respected Boxing authority who castigates him for his KO losses, but ranks Louis the ATG Heavyweight. Louis - the guy KO'd by Schmeling and decked by Two Ton Tony Galento.

But Lewis definitely struggled w/ lesser men than Fury. Fury's style in particular would be a massive headache for Lewis.

We can argue the particulars in other threads, but you can't look at Lewis' career and find evidence that he can do what Fury does, or that he'd beat Fury. To his credit, he has a legacy that Fury doesn't and his offensive skills are some of the division's best ever, while Fury has none.

I agree that Lewis was a tremendous Heavyweight champion (despite his many warts), but I don't see how those achievements prove he can beat Tyson Fury. The evidence points to the contrary.
Are you serious. Wild swinging Wilder put Fury down twice. Lewis is several orders of magnitude better than Wilder. What's up with this fumbling against Tua and Holyfield?? He beat Holyfield twice and made Tua look like a club fighter. The first Holfield fight is ranked as one of the worst decisions in boxing history. It was so bad it promoted federal and state investigations into boxing corruption.

If you think a 6'9" 250lb guy with the skills of Fury wouldn't be at least "competetive" in the 60s then either you have the rose tinted glasses on or else you don't understand boxing.

There's a couple of guys in that era who would be very tough fights for Fury but the majority of them wouldn't cause much of an issue.

"Big" George foreman was half a foot shorter and a legitimate 40lbs lighter than Fury and still WAY slower than Fury. How does he beat Fury short of Tyson getting on his knees and remaining perfectly still so George can hit him.

Please explain to me how foreman wins that fight, I want to know how he cuts off the ring and takes Fury's jab away

Just to play Devils advocate Wilder didn't fight a 100% version of Fury, compare furys footwork in the Wlad fight to his "footwork" in the wilder fight.

Not saying he beats Lewis just that wasn't the best version of fury

Fury has at least 30 lbs of flab still hanging off him, at least in the Wilder fight.

Foreman was a trim muscled 220lbs. Fury's 250 is about the same as when Foreman fought at 250 in his later years.

- -Fury was weak as a newborn kitty and off balance in his two comeback fights.

Just like Tyson was well off after his two jail hiatus stints and never got into his all time great groove, but the suits propped him up to make fortunes.
