Nah, Canelo didnt wait until GGG looked vulnerable right? Hes so brave for taking the fight against GGG despite the fact hes a legit MW who fought at 154 and would ONLY be drained if he was. And now hes big enough to fight at 168 like all you "hes not an actual MW"

Lolo. So funny.
The 2 fighters that beat Triple L are fighting (Nelo/Jacobs).

Unless you think Canelo isn't that good either, then fair enough because otherwise they're pretty much neck and neck

The 1st fight wasn't close. Nelo outboxed him clearly. You can argue a couple close rounds but that's about it. Jacobs beat him, Nelo beat him twice & he probably won't fight another good fighter ever again unless its Nelo again & we all know its for the motivation of money.

Lolo. So funny.
Your interpretation isnít accurate. See in boxing usually youngies grow towards higher weights, not the reverse.

Canelo said 155 to GGG in 4th of 2015 before facing Cotto. That Fighthype interview is documented on YouTube. The Canelo physique then was not as big as Caneloís physique 2 years later when he fought Chavez Jr. In fact, their levels of fighting arenít even the same league, so he chose to fight Chavez with a camp were weight cutting wasnít a criteria.

You think Errol Spence or Crawford whom walk around 170-180 wouldnít be able to fight a non threat at 154? All it means is that they donít have to have a normal protocol camp against a difficult Champion at their desired weight class - 147.

GGG walks around 190lbs easily, and when he splurges on the off season as seen in photos where he has fat cheeks and a gut, which surely he is allowed to enjoy himself or course, but that just shows you why boxing is a dynamic sport. GGG has always been bigger than Canelo. Why would GGG sweat profusely at pressers late in his years? Itís called having difficulty making weight. When GGG enters the ring he is about 175 easily. Those weights arenít disclosed and in reality it doesnít matter because as long as a fighter makes weight then so be it.

And Gennady himself for years said 154-168 was easy, so him asking Ward at 164, how can anybody criticize Canelo regarding weight? These comparisons donít make any sense.
