So in the same article he says he's going to sign a 3 fight deal with Showtime paying him more than $120 and also that's he's a free agent that can fight Fury or AJ on ESPN or DAZN?

If wilder can get that from showtime, then good for him...it seems unlikely tho. If he does, it’ll be cuz dazn forced showtimes hand with their ridiculous offers. At this stage of wilder’s career and with the very real possibility of him taking a L sooner than later, it would be a risky investment on the part of showtime.

Showtime actually operates at a profit and has years of success unlike DAZN. They'll be fine. DAZN would kill to have the amount of subscribers as Showtime.

These networks and streaming providers are investing way too much money in the heavyweight division. It is a division of 2nd tier fighters. I cannot see how anyone can be wow'd by any of them.

Mayweather got more PPV buys on average than Wilder got on free ffs.

              totally idiotic comparison
Wtf? The question was asked what did Mayweather get, I answered what’s the issue, when did I compare or say wilder deserves anywhere near that?

If by "he" you were referring to Wilder, then those were the words of the writer, not Wilder.

Only if their parent company CBS who owns Showtime gets involved; Then it will happen. However, so far their has been relatively little to no interest for the services of Deontay Wilder by CBS.

Well that means he is about to become a Pay Per View fighter then because there is no way that Showtime World Championship Boxing can afford to pay him that kind of money out of their small budget.

Showtime just so happens to be a subsidiary of the largest free television network in America which is CBS. So they have the deep pockets to make it happen if they want it to happen. $120mil is very little by today's standard as opposed to 2012 when Floyd got his six fight $200mil deal.
