Casual fans will. Hardcore fans won't.

The best promoted fighters atm are Ca$hnelo, Anthony Joshua, and Lomachenko. And there's no debating that - that's the list. ESPN pushes Loma hard and Loma usualy delivers a corresponding performance.

Ca$h and AJ just flat out dominate everyone they fight.

GBP/DAZN and TR/ESPN is the way to go if you want to be popular and make millions. If you're okay making 500k and maybe scracthing the surface of millions than go with Haymon and Showtime, but nobody watches those fighters. They have zero popularity.
There is definitely plenty debating that this was probably least hyped Canelo fight since he became a star AJ is getting no exposure in USA And his stock is on decline

I'd love for DAZN to release numbers for this fight I bet this is least money generated fight for Canelo in years

Those are the best two fights to be made for him at 160. Even then he is still the favorite and "expected" to win, there is less doubt that he would win than the GGG fights, so when he does win, there are people that still will not give him a lot of credit for it.

But I want to see him face either those two, a real challenge at 168 or if need be, a 3rd GGG fight. I dont really want a 3rd GGG fight. We know that a fight with them will always be close, the last one was a definite win for canelo but to see a stoppage or complete domination then GGG will have to age/decline more and canelo wont get credit in that case so whats the point.

Either win would be solid on the resume. Personally I'd love to see him taking Jermall's 0.

GGG is beating Jacobs on this poll 47% to 42%.

The general public isn't watching boxing unless it is a super fight nowadays. So outside maybe Golovkin and that is even a stretch, they aren't tuning into watch in big numbers (millions).

Canelo would get credit from the right people for fighting either of those guys. Good fights.

When you’re face of boxing haters come with the territory especially on these boards.

The only thing canelo could do to get credit around here is become European being that 80% of folks here are biased euro fans.

With that said canelo is already the best boxer today so it it what it is.

When you're on top of the world the only place to go is down and people will blame him for anything he doesn't do..while, in reality, he does everything he can to be the best:

                  - lineal @ 154
                  - fought Floyd at 22 years of age @ 152
                  - fought Cotto @ 155
                  - offered lil g fight @ 155...lil g refused
                  - fought g @ 160 and outboxed him, easy
                  - took year off, hard surgery, no tune-ups, battered lil g in the rematch

Nothing Ca$h can do at this point in time will be enough. When you're held to that standard...it goes without saying you are the #1 fighter in the world

Mr. Middleweigh and Mr. Pound-for-Pound Ca$hnelo

This post is ******ed. If Canelo fought any of those names he would get props. The only hate he would get would be from trolls. People want to see him against he best, any of those names would suffice
