I know people with jobs that got it they lie, it’s government money they don’t give you the bank it’s barely enough to go grocery shopping a few times so with or without it crime is still gonna happen At the same rate.

I agree remember the Aesop fable about the grasshopper and the ant. Some people missed that lesson growing up and so this is the result.

Depending where the money went, the economy would most likely collapse and go into a deep recession.

You can't just pull a huge amount of disposable income out of the economy.

Them again we've been through al this before haven't we.

Well what do you think all your socialist programs do? Where does that money come from? Where does government get money? By taking disposable income.

52 million open jobs in the US . just go get a job doe!

there might be 10-20% of that. 20% feels pretty high, actually.

also, out of that 52 million, how many are retirees, the disabled, kids unable to work, etc?

IDK, probably some stats on that but I couldnt find any.

Lets just say half are elder, disabled, retirees etc,

so 26 million people on welfare, I doubt theirs even 26 million jobs out there, but who knows.

that's pretty well researched, the bold. there are about 5-10 million job vacancies from what i can see. most sources claim around 6-7 million and that they've reached the number with decent accuracy.
