If you visit the Historical Films web site and search for “Jack Sharkey” you will find an up to now unseen film clip of the Dempsey Sharkey bout. Film was taken at a different angle and distance vs the well known film footage we have all seen. That’s the good news. The bad news is the film is super quick making it next to impossible to follow. If someone had the ability to take this clip and slow it down it would be interesting to see if it sheds any light on the three body blows that preceded the KO blow. My contention has always been these blows we’re not low and a good portion of those at ringside felt the same.
