Dumbest post I ever read... Fuking ******.. Go grind yourself.

Lewis DOMINATED bigger fighters. He actually had more issues with SMALLER guys. Against a fellow big man, Lennox smell the inferiority and went all out on them.

    Idiot

Ali would school him on boxing methods! Lennox would look awkward trying to deal with the great laterial movement from a "prime" Ali! Ali on the move and going in & out with combination Lennox has NEVER witnessed would be to much for a young Lewis! The Greatest against a Good just doesn't add up to Lewis dealing with Ali! Ali by distance and if Lennox pushed trying to pressure he'd get stopped! To many folks here watch an old Ali on video in the prime years he had ALL the punches flowing and the best chin EVER in the heavy division. Ray.

67 version of Ali dances around Lewis all night making him miss a lot. The difference in speed is huge! Probably a clear, big UD for Ali.
75 version of Ali - KO Lewis in the later rounds.

Ali has a significant advantage in almost every department compared to Lewis except the punching power. Way too little to take Ali...
Chin, speed, heart, technique, movement everything goes hands down to Ali.

Prime Lewis is good but no where near prime Ali.

          Lewis vs Ali
In regards to Lewis vs the great one ALI.

          Can Lewis out box Ali?
Lewis was a very good outside fighter. He got a good left hook, did well in combination bursts and had a massive right hand. His balance is something that people over look as well. For someone that’s 6’5’6’6 240+, he got great balance for such a super heavyweight. His jab against a fast footed killer will be a very deadly weapon and add in his variety of punches, he was very good technically. All these points indicate Lennox had a real chance of out boxing Ali should Ali attempt to keep this a tactical fight.
Ali got blinding hand speed and great foot works. His punches weren’t the hardest, and I seriously doubt he can hurt a fully focused Lewis. Rahman and Mccall caught him unaware and at a time he was seriously lacking in focus. In h2h match ups you take the best versions. The best versions of LL would have been able to absorb any Ali punches, he fought a very long line of huge punchers from the early 90’s all the way up to the early 2000’s. Mason-Ruddock-Morrison-Briggs-Golota-Bruno-Tua-Grant-Vitali, not one was able to floor him.

What would most likely have happened
Ali got great recovering powers, he is capable of being caught though. What we do know is Lewis have definitely fought numerous punchers that hit harder then Ali, but Ali had fought only 2 fighters who ‘might’ hit harder then Lewis. Weather or not Foreman and Shavers hit harder then LL is up for serious debate. People forget that Ali is honestly fundamentally flawed on defense and used his superior reflexes along with speed to get him out of trouble. Lennox will eventually catch him with a thundering right hand the likes of that Ali never ever felt before and knock him out late.

The BEST version of Ali wins a decision.

Either side of his prime he loses a decision, there is a very short period where he was better than Lewis ever was, but it is very short.

              Ali.

Only hardcore Lennox fans will disagree.

There aren't that many hardcore Lewis fans around anymore.

Besides, as I just said, prime for prime Ali wins.

Green Ali who got dropped by cooper, or past prime Ali who didn't have his legs loses.

Ali will win this kind of poll against any heavyweight in history.

I see you at the edge to become one.
Not just prime Ali, but any still good version of Ali clearly takes Lennox.

Ali that fought Friezer takes Lennox easily, also the version that fought Foreman.

I know you like your man, but lets keep it real

                      Ali by UD, or TKO.

Lewis hand and foot speed, albeit good enough for a big HW, is simply not enough to deal with a prime Ali.

IMO Lewis gets outboxed and outsmarted all night, possibly stopped on cuts.
