Goes life and death with Fonfara. He hasn't fought a true contender since the FOnfara fight

The guy might actually be the most overrated belt holder in boxing.
Not to start anything but you could make the argument that his resume is better than GGG's.

one thing we can all agree on is he's criminally overrated, since he got caught pimpin' and molesting kids and thrown in jail.

Theres a few reasons why people don't like him.

          - His activity level has gone down.

          - He could be facing better guys.

          - He now only fights in Canada (hometown boy).

          - He struggled against Fonfara.

Agreed, I think he could beat either Ward or Kovalev It's not a given that either man wins against Adonis because Adonis is a lot more dynamic in his movement his punching power I honestly believe is a lot more dangerous than Kovalevs I'm not so sure If Ward would have survived a full flush shot from Adonis.

Ward only fights in USA too, Canada is a huge place for him to fight in it is no different to fighting in the US the only difference is Adonis is almost certainly guaranteed a packed out house each time fighting over there.
So in short I don't think that's a reason to dislike him nor do I think struggling against Fonfara is one.

Could be facing better guys but boxing always has its problems with making fights its not just him!

I think he gets far too much stick on here.

That construction workers only loss is due to him suffering a bad injury, dunno what you're watching but If you can't see that Smith Jr is a good enough fighter then you gotta be partly blind.

He's got a very unique build freakishly long arms and he evidently hits like a mule.

Maybe you're right. Canada has become a boxing hotbed in recent years, but he would still get a hometown decision against any non Canadian fighter.

He could still travel to other fighters backyards like Kovalev does all the time. It would only give Stevenson more exposure and widen his fanbase, but Haymon wouldn't allow that.
