Yeah I hate seeing that happen to players that haven't reached their full potential. Similar thing happened to that powerhouse winger from the tigers a few years back and he didn't recover

Cooper Cronk re-sings with the Storm for another 4 years in a deal worth between 2 to 2.5 million dollars.

Shame, I was hoping he'd join the Titans.

Why would he want to join a club that isn't even going to exist?

When are all these codes going to learn? People on the Gold Coast do not support their sporting teams. Every team that ever gets put on the Coast is destined to fail. The AFL team will eventually fail. That joke of an A-League team has failed, now the Titans are going to fail.

People that live there do not care about sport. They don't follow their team, they don't go to the games, they don't watch or care.

The NRL should take the smart option and just get the hell out of that sporting graveyard. Take that franchise somewhere that will watch them. Wellington, Perth, wherever, just get the hell out of that horrible place.

Also, loving the demise of Searle. Always hated the prick with a passion.

Remember when the Titans were saying they were going to take over us as the number one team in Queensland? That was funny.

That's very harsh. There should be sporting teams in the Gold Coast. Plenty of people on the Gold Coast follow their sporting teams.

Form what I've heard the club side of the Titans is doing fine, it's the property side that the problem.

Look at the Suns they made a profit last year and have a strong supporter base.

The Suns are the flavour of the month. It was the same with the Titans. Wait a couple of years, noone will be going.

The Coast is terrible at supporting their teams. There is clear evidence of this across all of the codes.

Also, NRL auditors found that debt was riddled all through the club.

No ones at the games, The A league is worse, but the Titans aren't that far behind them.

Strong support Base, but do they go to the games ???

Gold Coast fail because of poor business brains behind the movement, their crowds are about on par with those of other non Broncos clubs.

The centre of excellence was nice in theory but never going to make any money. Their whole property wing has taken a big dive and got them into debt, their financial trouble has very little to do with crowds, membership, sponsorship etc.

Also the Titans aren't the first Rubgy League club on the GC, a couple of others have failed before them.

Almost half as bad as the Coast. Awesome to see them go down again on the weekend.
