HBO favored Golivkin over Canelo and robbed him?

Harold had scored 2nd round for Canelo, but whatever makes you sleep well at night OP..

They were mad pushing GGG. Its disgusting tbh. Canelo dominated 1-3 and 12 and also won 4 and 8 clearly. Roy had to backpedal and be like what are you guys talking about, Canelo is going well.

Yeah HBO coverage was very bias with GGG and shapes a narrative hell just look at Lederman who has been tuning out shyt cards. He had terrible bias one sided cards for BOTH kovalev/ward fights.

I watched the BoxNation broadcast and their commentators had GGG winning the fight comfortably. They gave Alvarez the first 2 rounds and the last 2 I believe. Maybe one more. SO they had it 8-4 or 7-5. They kept remarking through rounds 3-9 how Canelo was getting outworked and that while he was landing the occasional eye catching shot, he wasn't doing enough to win in their opinion.

The U.K. boxing scene is its own separate entity, and media like Sky and BoxNation have no reason to align themselves with HBOs motives. In fact in the past, the commentators at Sky and BoxNation have scored fights very differently than the HBO guys. Same fights, but the commentary teams at each network saw the fight differently. As far as the GGG v Canelo fight, it seems that the commentary from the U.K. Networks was more in line with HBO commentary, if anything the U.K. networks saw GGG winning wider than HBO did I believe

By Bradley D. Cision: Another predictable, controversial, and expected decision has been handed down in the most anticipated fight of the year last Saturday night with the Saul “Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) vs. middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) being scored as a controversial 12 round draw at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Many boxing fans have been waiting for the Canelo Golovkin fight for almost two years, but many boxing fans predicted that if the fight went to the scorecards, Canelo would find a way to win.

Fortunately for GGG, the worst that happened was that Canelo was given a draw, and didn’t steal his titles away. Many people saw the fight as a clear, although close win for GGG, and a few saw it as a legitimate draw.

What most people saw is GGG controlling the pace for 90 percent of the fight, backing Alvarez up to the ropes constantly, and out-landing him in jabs by almost 50 jabs. The jab controlled the pace of the fight. GGG out-landed Canelo 218-169 and landed more punches in 10 of 12 rounds.

Alvarez also looked like he had minimal answers for GGG as he was on his bike until he fought in spurts trying to counterpunch GGG with his back to the ropes constantly, especially in the later rounds where GGG looked completely comfortable and Alvarez had no real answer for a fighter that finally wasn’t smaller, or past his prime, or has a weak chin.

In an anonymous online poll, a whopping 79% of the people polled thought GGG won the fight. Only 10% thought Canelo won, and 11% thought it was a draw.

Who did you have winning Canelo-GGG?
            10%
            Canelo Alvarez
            (386 votes)

            79%
            Gennady Golovkin
            (3044 votes)

            11%
            Draw
            (410 votes)

3840 votes total were submitted in this online poll.

Out of a total of 69 boxing writers and fighters, a landslide 54 thought GGG won the fight. Only FIVE thought Canelo won, and the rest had it a draw.

That whole list of experts is literally MMA White Weirdos that believe they're experiencing white genocide, Al Haymon's hoes (like they'd ever say a GBP fighter won, Borat knobslobbers like Steve Kim, Harold Lederman and Doug Fischer, guys Ca$hnelo beat the s**t out of like Khan, Trout, Smith, and Chavez Jr., the racist Kovalev, and the biggest ****** on earth Teddy Atlas (he cried about 118-110 yet he had an absurd 118-110 score for Borat, ).

Funny how the most respectable guys (Roy Jones Jr., Kenny Porter, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., Erik Morales, Tommy Hearns) had it for Ca$hnelo or a draw.

That's the consesus with the vast majority of media, athletes and fans, that Triple G won.

I was surprised the next day after the fight when I went to local Taco Resturants, stores, etc....the Mexicanos there told me Canelo lost. At my job today earlier, people were telling me "that's what everyone is saying that Triple G won."

Just seems like this is what the view is for the majority of the people.
