                    I think it's a cultural thing, I had Samoan homeboys and things are different with them, just like in Mexico.

                    Stealing can mean really hurting someone badly, especially if you are poor and don't have nothing. In older societies it could be punishable by death because stealing goods or even a horse was so essential to life.

                    I think this is over the top but I bet you the kid won't steal again.
