Jump rope - Calf problems, help required.

      Since you don't really describe your symptoms it's hard to tell if it's simple soreness or possible strain or even a muscle tear but any ways. Try icing your calve muscles for 15 to 20 minutes a day specially after working out. This should reduce inflammation. You can also use a foam roller to breakdown any muscle spasm or scar tissue buildup. Instead of jumping rope use a small trampoline.

          damn, I skip on concrete all the time.

          what about a on like a baseball infield type surface or a track surface, or ever tennis court surface?
