  • LeBron missing playoffs is a good thing for him and the Lakers

Too lazy to do the research but Bron played alot of post season games. A chance to take the a longer summer of to get his mind and body right will do him well. Plus watching other in the playoffs should have him hungry and motivated for following season(s).

Add to that Lakers cap space and Lottery pick. Might have a chance to make noise next year. The Wild West ain't no joke.

Just a fan of the game. Not necessarily a Lakers or Bron fan, but the game is better when Lakers, probably the most storied team in the league, are a factor.

No there is nothing good about missing the playoffs 6 damn years in a row who gives af about Lebron it’s about the Lakers we need to trade him for someone who actually plays defense and isn’t a locker room cancer.

If magic didn’t trade d lo and listened to the staff about resigning randle lakers would be a top 4 seed right now without Lebron.

Waiting until next year is not always good when you are getting older. LeBron has been wearing the ol body down and the rest may help but he will be another year older still.

I'd take a motivated LeBron over anybody not name Jordan. He can't be older than 33. Althletes are built different. I think Bron can play at a high level for years to come.

I think coasting in the East has hurt him. Might be a wake up call.

Legacy wise it is not good for lebron to be out of the playoffs. But yup his body will be well rested. As he’s not even 100% now.

And what’s the point anyway, they’re nowhere close to being contenders. Unless they’ll pull off great moves this summer. Steal Klay in FA or something. Trade for AD etc. they can’t compete with the juggernauts in the west.

Ingram’s and lonzo’s development are good but nowhere great. At least one them is expected to have a breakout season this year but nah. None of that happened.

Next year at least we can see gsw’s power diminished a bit if they don’t handle it well this summer.

The team is just not that good. The picks they’ve had don’t really look special to me ala kyrie irving level or even donovan simmons trae young or even luca during their 1st and second seasons

Don't give the Lakers anymore lottery picks they've ruined enough college kids dreams and aspirations

It would be a better thing had they made the playoffs and actually had a shot at going deep, though. Missing the playoffs also makes you less attractive to FA. Hopefully Lebron can get some of his friends to join him with the Lakers. I'm disappointed in the Lakers young players right now.

No it’s not good. The team added lebron and lost more games and the young players seemed to digress or stagnate.

Literally, lakers have to land a major impact star or 2 this off season. If they don’t land a Leonard, AD, etc next season will be just like this season, lebron will be a year older and they really won’t be an attractive spot for future free agent classes.
