One of the best of all time. He used steroids in the steroids era, but damn Bonds was a great player.

With or Without Steroids. He was a great player.

No question Bonds was one of the greatest hitters to ever play steroids or not.

It seems like the steroids gave the juicers a mental edge as much as a physical one. Any roid users here can confirm that?

Shame he’ll prob never be in the hof. Easily a top 10 player. Roids don’t improve hand eye coordination. Just ask Chris davis

          Possibly increased bat speed

However, Bonds was always great and it’s arguable that McGwire’s improvement was far more pronounced

You know the funny thing is when McGwire was going for the record when I was a kid not matter what you were watching they interrupted it when he came to bat to see if he could do it.

When Barry was going to break the record that didn't happen.

he was very good and very personable prior to the roids. he wanted to be special and it came at a cost.

He was a great ball layer but his legacy is tainted by steroids. I think he, McGwire and Sosa should all have asterisks next to their names. Marris is still the true single-season homerun king and Aaron is still the career homerun king.

I actually think Ken Griffey Jr. is the best baseball player of that era. Too bad he was plagued with injuries.
