so he turned down a career high payday against the #1 guy in the division because ward has excellent bum-radar? you would think that's easy money beating a bum with hype. he also turned down stevenson because stevenson hasn't beaten anyone although stevenson just ko'd the guy ward fought.

He wanted to fight bute but carl crotch made him irrelevant. Ward would fight anyone put in front of him at this point, klitschko is unfortunately gonna take his #2 p4p spot because of inactivity, and this is because of goosen.

Bute wanted to fight Ward right after the Super Six. Ward did talk a lot of **** about Bute and his level of competition but Ward also sufferd a broken hand during the Froch fight and couldn't have faced Boute even if he wanted to. Froch saw the oppertunity to fight Bute and made himself the talk of the town again.

Don't recall hearing anything about a Stevenson fight before Ward's contract dispute.

He has excellent skills but he has a few knocks against him.

            1. He doesnt have a fan friendly style and cant draw

            2. He refuses to leave Oakland

Ward offered to fight Froch in England for the rematch, I'm sure he wanted the lion's share of the pie but that probably could have been resolved during negotiations had Froch taken him up on the offer.

Ward beat Froch in Atlantic City which is a considerable distance from Oakland. Ward is the champ of his division, where else would you rather he fight...in his opponent's home town?

He has had fights outside of California only 5 times or so. Dude was too much of a diva to go anywhere like the others did during the Super Six. I'm glad the Winky Wright Syndrome caught up to him and now he's paying for it. Dude is severely overrated.

He is not overrated. He needs a new promoter an Manager. Someone Like Al Haymon would have him fighting twice a year.
