This was hardly brutality... just an idiot running from cops, then not listening to commands and resisting..

Police brutality is when the cops beat the hell out of Rodney king after the cops had the situation in hand and there was no threat..

Cops should have shot the ignorant crowd

No - he was resisting after the cop was telling him to stop restraining his hands.

He had no idea what that man could have been reaching for.

Also, the video picks up after what appears to be a long chase, so I'm guessing the dude initially refused orders to comply, and tried to run.

That gets the cops adrenaline up, and he's wondering "why is this guy running"? "what does he have on him - any weapons"?

So when the cop subdues the guy, and he's saying "give me your hands," the guy is reaching all over the place.


Could the cop have handled it a little better? Yes - he could have just held the guy and hoped backup came soon (which thankfully it did here).


But that's not my call to make - this was within reasonable force used to get compliance.


It's hard to watch, of course, but the dude put himself in that situation by not complying.

Where there wasn't even excessive force? The cop just hitting the dude a few times, mostly on his hands/arms trying to get him to relax his arms and place them where he could cuff him.

LOL whats with black guys thinking they are God? dude its funny how the other folk are acting concerned and intervene when a police is beating up some criminal idiot in their community.

But why dont they all show that same concern for one of their own when one of their own is beating another person to death in the hood? if they shown the same interest as they do in this video their would be no crime, this why I dont even takes irrational minded people serious

They just want to cash out and play victim cause its in now to cry police brutality and film it smh

The hood is hopeless no morals at all and no rationality, no snitching, only mad when a white beats a black thug, never mad when blacks kill each other, show no concern just film it and put it on worlstar.
