Most of Ward fans look at the color of his skin and not his real skills. I don't see the greatness that his fans claim. The clinching examples you provided isn't skills although they think otherwise

1. the low double leg. As suggested. it's too low to hit him legally coming in.

2. he wears earmuffs and throws double underhooks on you mid-swing.

3. he will jab to your head, distract you enough to grab you.

4. he will counter your jab with a headbutt

5. he will jab and throw a jiujitsu choke on your neck too
