I hope Golovkin's team doesn't overvalue him. I'm not sure what the offers are but 15M and a small % of the PPV is reasonable.

It's simple. Golovkin can win convincingly if he was only more willing to take shots to get his off. You know. Heart. He might even get the KO if he was willing to press hard enough.
This is the only thing that was exposed in the fight that Golovkin doesn't have more heart then your average slick boxer when he's faced with equal fire power. He won't beat his opponent he waits for his opponent to beat himself.

Jacob's gives him a good fight and yet all of his fans want golovkin to bypass him to fight a guy that they don't believe has a shot at beating him.
I think they liked it better when they could say nobody wants to fight him.
Golovkin a entertaining guy and a skilled boxer but fearless brawler he is not l. It's a shame he's become the white nationalist icon through his bullying tactics instead of becoming becoming famous for his high level of skill.

You can tell the difference in the fights because Jacobs despite officially losing not only it didn't hurt his stock but improved it. While Lara lost hurt his stock and is forever branded a coward runner. He'll NEVER get a fight with Canelo again, where as GGG has no choice he has to rematch.

Canelo has never faced a true middleweight. Not once. Even a drained, sloppy, undedicated Junior can't fight like a middleweight. I think Canelo did the right thing for his career handing over the belt to the man and being a coward. Don't fight guys who can hurt you. Be yellow. Be Canelo.
