Is it worth it for Lomachenko to move up to 140 to fight a legend?

Demand Arum to make the fight with Mikey Garcia Instead! Not liking this BS of Loma moving up for Pacquiao and Mikey moving up for Spence Jr when they have each other in their Division which is one of the biggest fights in boxing

Boxing is just all over the damn place sometimes and it is ANNOYING!

If he loses he lost an old Pacquiao.

I don't think it makes as much as Pacquiao is hoping for either.
Floyd and pac got their ticket to stardom from a declining Oscar.
They were immediately 1million ppv fighters. At the end of the day, you’re in the sport to make money. If you want to be catapulted to stardom what better way to fight an aging legend while the whole world is watching.

Unless you don’t believe in yourself that you can actually win.

Pac is also more past his best than the version of Oscar floyd fought.
The only way this will happened though is at 140.
Loma will be the underdog, like pac against oscar. Then upset the world.

Or loma ain’t as good as pac or floyd in their primes?

Little pacman moved up several divisions throughout his career. People are already putting Loma on that legendary status so why cant he move up couple divisions to face an old Pacman?

        Yea loma should face him.

Tv network allegiances and promoter bullshit are killing the sport.

So Manny can go down to 135 to fight Loma we don't need another Manny weight, or stay at WW and fight Spence or TC and get blown into retirement.

Manny and his BS CWS, ALWAYS his advantage nobody in history has manipulated weight to suit himself as Manny has.

Moving up to fight Manny does not offer him anything. If he wins, we get the so what Manny was old. If he loses its OMG he lost to an old man.

If Loma is going to move up, he may as well go for Gusto against someone like Crawford. That way a win is spectacular, and a loss is something where people will say he dared to be great, but just went too far.

Loma is the type of guy who only wants to fight guys holding real belts. He seems more interested in achievements more than money. I don't think he is interested in Pacquiao, just like he was not interested in Rigo.

There are a lot of people that have no idea who Lomachenko is. Fighting Pacquiao would get him name recognition amongst casuals and the general public.

There's a lot to gain there. He could become a viable PPV fighter especially if he beats Pac.

He should dare to be great-ish because Pac man is 39 after all

but I think Manny smokes him even at his age

Or is junior welterweight simply too much of a jump in weight and asking too much of him?
I don't think manny should drop in weight at this age and stage of his career. Almost always ends up bad for older fighters to go down in weight.
