Bernard Hopkins may have had a slightly higher ring IQ 'I am only stating this because? Hopkins did not have the athletic capabilities of Mayweather' he had no choice but to develop in other areas.

Bernard Hopkin's was like Batman.

Note: I have not voted.

Man, this is a hard question.

I actually voted Floyd, but changed my vote after listening to some of you guys.

Hopkins fought killers in their primes like De La Hoya, Roy Jones, & Trinidad and won most of the time. He didn't even look bad against a prime Sergey Kovalev when he was old.

Floyd's a boxing genius, but he had a lot of speed, quickness, and natural talent.

B-Hop was sheer craftiness. And yes, all that dirty shxt is apart of his genius.

Floyd for simply not wanting to take unessecary risks in the ring

Hopkins would try to stroke his ego and try to fight guys he shouldnt be fighting with which i saw early on his career against roy jones and calzaghe and even in his final 2 fights against kovalev and smith

He looked pretty bad against Kovalev he lost every round and almost got killed in the last round he took such a beating.

Out of those fighters you listed the only guy who was actually in his prime was Roy Jones and he beat him easily.

Lets be real it takes IQ to do dirty shyt and never get caught, plus fighting dirty is apart of the game. Same as clinching.

I will give the slight edge to B-Hop since he had less to work with

While floyd is incredibly athletic he knew it’d be his downfall to stay a bit longer as his technique really relied on his physical talents.
Personally i wish floyd fought more prime fighters, if he beat prime pac, prime cotto, made weight against marquez and fought canelo at 154, he’d be my goat.

He did all that WHILE FIGHTING.

Floyd’s IQ just had him run & hug dude. Not much to it.

Hopkins
Floyd was the more fluid boxer and used that in the ring
Bernard wasn’t so fluid hence making more adjustments in the ring making his ring iq better imo
