Ok - BangEM
Default Crawford showed no boxer is invincible

This is why I laugh when idiotic casuals on here act like some bummy boxer with no boxing skills would knock everyone out because he has been matched with bums and a 59-yr old man. Boxing is much more difficult than that and it’s a very brutal sport. One mistake against a guy who’s heavily handed and you might get knocked out.

Crawford was lucky the guy he was fighting wasn’t that skilled (the same thing happened in the Fury vs Wallin fight), else it would be a different topic today. And we would be talking about Crawford in the same space as Commey.

Why would you think any boxer is invincible?

Crawford fought the number 8 ranked contender and beat him easily. He was hurt by a punch but wrestled down, not knocked down and was never in danger of losing so what is the problem? Crawford beat a good fighter the way excellent fighters are supposed to beat good fighters. Why do you keep trying to make Ortiz 59 or 79 or 101 years old. Ortiz is 40 years old and safely out of Cuba and has no logical reason to lie about his age. Ortiz was a top 5 contender when Wilder beat him twice and he deserves credit for 2 good wins. Yes Wilder fought poor opposition even after becoming WBC champ but he has stepped up the quality of his opponents lately.

Crawford was just showing that he's adaptable, deliberately going southpaw and fighting the Mean Machine to prove to that he could beat him (and stop him) at his own game. Crawford is a beast and I'd pick him him to beat Porter and Spence in great fights, assuming that Spence is able to come back at 100%. Pacquiao is a non-factor when it comes to determining who's the best at 147, as he's cherry-picking beatable fighters at this stage of his career. Pacquiao already avoided Crawford when he was at Top Rank, and he wants nothing to do with Porter and Spence.

He was not fighting him at his own game, when the Knock down happened. He was fighting like he usually does. Then became aggrieve the next round.

Vergil Ortiz is a good prospect, just like Haney. But Crawford would destroy him.

Everyone looks good against bums until they have to step up.

Crawford has always been a no-frills fighter who gets the job done. It will be hard to find someone who beats him for good.

Exactly, guys get hit at the elite level. What matters most is how Bud responded to adversity and in my eyes he out-toughed the tough guy.

Crawford loves to bang with the bangers and box with the boxers. Getting knocked down isn't a big deal: he's having fun in there. He loves to demonstrate his versatility and superior skills, constantly testing himself, figuring out his opponents, then going in for the kill.
