Default double end bag vs. reflex bag?

i just got my top contender reflex bag

it works great, it really forces you to defend after punching (weave/block/slip/counter)

what are the advantages/disadvantages of a double end bag vs. a reflex bag? (besides the fact that you can put the reflex anywhere, no need to attach it to the ceiling/floor)

and, what's the difference between the top contender reflex bag and the ringside professional model cobra reflex bag?

the double end bag is more for like somewhat inside combos and slipping, while the cobra bag is more for straight punches and straight combos.

I like the double end bag better just cause its quicker and cobra bags springs end up wilted and pretty much broken.

The differance between the cobra and the reflex bag is just the position of the spring, one is on the top by the bag, while one is in the center. I own one with the spring in the middle and now after the years it is leaning to one side. A gym I went to had the spring at the near the bag and it ended up getting lose and I always ended up hitting the spring and hurting a knuckle.

I call all of them (cobra/reflex) cobra bags to clear up kinda what I was saying earlier. If you can get a good one it gives a great workout, but in the long run wears out.
